Four BioShock Infinite Screenshots Released

Four BioShock Infinite Screenshots Released

Includes parallel universe version of Star Wars

Written by N0T PENNYS B0AT on 19 August 11 at 09:18

Though this fall and winter will have gamers around the world with their hands full of top-tier titles like Assassin's Creed: Revelations, Battlefield 3, and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, there are still plenty of games to look forward to a bit further down the proverbial road.

Perhaps no game is bigger than BioShock Infinite, the third game in Irrational Games' unique saga. Though this game sees the departure from underwater Rapture to a sprawling city in the sky called Columbia, Irrational Games has high standards of quality and this third journey in the Bio-sphere shouldn't disappoint.

.
The second screenshot shows a tear, which are new to the series. It is literally a tear in the fabric of the universe that crosses over into a parallel universe. All citizens of Columbia can see them, but for some reason the young woman you're protecting can manipulate them. That's just a small bit of mystery surrounding this upcoming title.

The game kept a lower profile at Gamescom than its award-winning appearance at E3 earlier this year, but the hype is still sky-high. Look toward the clouds sometime in 2012 to find BioShock Infinite.

Can't wait to see what Bioshock is like out of Rapture. But saying that, it will be hard for them to make a game world better than it.

Number two certainly looked like Rapture but didn't really feel like it, at least not to the same extent. It's better they change now instead of riding that slippery slope. This time things will be different, this time things will be looking up, waaayy up. Cloud City, here I come!
Extra thanks to the newshounds!! I like the good news and complaining about the bad news. A win-win.

Well I never played 2, but I have to say this one intrigues me.
If you read this, you're awesome, however if you tell me you read this, you're a fudgesickle.

Number 2 was a dissapointment compared to the first game, but you can pick it up for a fiver pre owned and well worth the play for that.

This is a must buy. Bioshock was possibly the best game ever, and 2 wasn't too shabby either.
osubluejacket - Try as I might, I'm just not getting into Far Cry 3.

The term "Jedi" is pretty much locked down by LucasFilm, so the use of "Revenge of the Jedi" is highly intentional.

I really hate when people bash or disregard Bioshock 2. It does not have the grand scale story like the first one, but a more subtle personal story about (pretty much) one person. Plus Bio2's gameplay blows its predecessor out of the water.
