Rise of Nightmares Goes on Vacation

Rise of Nightmares Goes on Vacation

Just a normal train journey through Europe

Written by punkyliar on 19 August 11 at 18:00

Most of you know about the existence of SEGA's upcoming Kinect title Rise of Nightmares. We know that it's a survival horror game, where players have to navigate through a mansion to try and find the un-named protagonist's kidnapped wife, whilst surviving traps and legions of zombies. What we don't know is exactly how your wife came to be trapped in a mansion in the first place.

Well, the new 'Euro Vacation' trailer that has arrived out of Gamescom attempts to solve that conundrum for you.

You know those zombies that I was telling you about? Well, SEGA also wishes to demonstrate some of the ways that you'll be able to kill them too.

As is usual during big gaming events, developers also choose to re-release old screenshots and trailers mixed in with their new assets. Here is the handful of re-released screenshots that were chucked in with those above:

I was interested in this game as it looks to be the first game for the kinect that appeals to my age group, however this would require me to buy a kinect, and the game, spending about $200 on one game. I will wait to see if any other kinect titles intrigue me, by then this game will be cheaper.

I'm loving these trailers. I really want this game to go well so we can see others like it for the Kinect. Then I may someday invest in one.

So far, the trailers for this game have made me laugh/chuckle so much.
The amount of sarcasm Sega is putting into the campaign for the game seems awesome.

I can't WAIT for this game, the killer app for the Kinect so far, and it seems like it'll have a badass story too!
