Six New Dance Central 2 Tracks Revealed

Dance Central 2 was present and playable at PAX, and Harmonix took the occasion to announce six new tracks in the upcoming sequel. All six seem to fit in with a particular theme; they're all awesome! All kidding aside, the following tracks announced seem to fit the game quite well:

Haddaway – "What Is Love"
Digital Underground – "The Humpty Dance"
Sir Mix-A-Lot – "Baby Got Back (Mix Mix)"
Bobby Brown – "My Prerogative"
Kurtis Blow – "The Breaks"
Usher ft. Lil' Jon & Ludacris – "Yeah!"Now if there isn't a move in "What is Love" where you bob your head side to side repeatedly like in the SNL sketch turned movie Night at the Roxbury, then Harmonix has missed a huge opportunity. If these tracks aren't necessarily your cup of tea, there are still plenty of other tracks promised in addition to the tracks you can import from the first Dance Central. If the club can't even handle you right now, you can pop and lock in Dance Central 2 instead when it releases on October 21st in Europe and October 25th in North America.

Come On ... This just seems to be a dance version of the singing game lips .. nearly all the tracks are the same .. the game aint even out yet but did they know its 2011 wheres all the recent tracks .. would it be wise making a dance game with tracks made in 1988 or are the targeting the 40 year old market !

I wish they were more creative in their songlists, including different song styles to please more people, not just making a more of the same sequel.

EVEN THE WHITE BOYS GOTTA SHOUT, BABY GOT BACK.
And who didn't listen to Yeah! for like a decade? That song still comes on the damn radio and I was in MIDDLE SCHOOL when it came out.

The game is suppose to be fun, so I'm glad to see Harmonix "having some fun with it". Now, if they REALLY want to do that, they'll have the moves to match it. wink

It would be pretty funny to see my friends dance to "Yeah!" That song used to really annoy me back in high school

Account Settings

Xbox live settings will need to be set up in the following way to allow TrueAchievements to scan your gamertag.

1. Log into https://live.xbox.com

2. Click on My Account in the top toolbar.

3. Scroll down to Settings and Preferences on the right hand side. Click on Privacy and Online Settings.

4. Scroll down to Privacy. You need to make sure that Profile Sharing and Game History is set to Everyone otherwise you will not be scanned.

These simple steps will allow TrueAchievements to scan your profile and update your achievements.
