New Gears of War 3 'Dust to Dust' Trailer

The end is near

The release of Gears of War 3 is now almost upon us, bringing an end to the Delta team saga that was first introduced to us five years ago with the release of Gears of War.

To mark this exciting, but at the same time sad, moment in gaming history, Epic Games has released a new trailer titled "Dust to Dust", paying tribute to the heroes we have grown to know and love.

The trailer was released online yesterday evening, and will be aired on television this weekend during the college football opening weekend showdown between LSU and Oregon at 8:00 p.m. EDT / 5:00 p.m. PDT on ABC.

Set to the song ‘To Dust’ by Mazzy Star, the stirring new broadcast trailer follows the full saga of Marcus and Delta’s journey across all three “Gears of War” games as they charge head-on into the end.


Gears of War 3 will be released worldwide on September 20th.

Saw it at 12:01 Central standard when it released, trailer really brings it all together.

I can't help but feel disappointed.

Gears of War was a breathe of fresh air. I could have never imagined the path it would take over the course of 5 years.
