The Porsche certainly has been coming up frequently in racing game news lately. We learned recently that the Porsche brand is exclusive to EA and that, generally, they'll sub-license the use of the brand to other companies for inclusion in their racing titles. Unfortunately, however, it was revealed
that there will be no Porsches in Forza Motorsport 4
as an acceptable licensing deal could not be reached between Forza
developer Turn 10 Studios and EA.
It seems the reasoning for the lack of a deal has become a little more clear today, as EA has released a video showing off the 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera S, which will be available to people who purchase the Limited Edition
of their upcoming racer, Need For Speed The Run
Here's the description of the video provided by EA, just in case you can't give it a look:Who wouldn't want to drive this year's most highly anticipated car? The 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera S has been officially unveiled and Need for Speed The Run is giving you exclusive access.
