Geniaware's Lords of Football will see players take on the role of the manager of the first team at a football club. Unlike previous football management games though, this game almost has a Sims feel to it, as players will have to manage every aspect of the footballers' lives, including social time, team tactics and on-pitch performance.

The game's God Mode will include the day-to-day planning and running of the club's training sessions. The better managers will nurture close bonds with their players and manage the psychological aspects of each individual footballer through face-to-face dialogue both outside and during matches. Players will have their own characteristic traits, and will demand training, leadership and recreational entertainment, and even have the bad habits that some real-life footballers are prone to forming.

As well as creating tactical strategies and keeping track of each footballer's lifestyle choices, players will have to give press conferences, keep the supporters happy, and deal with transfer and market issues amongst other things.
