NCIS The Video Game Reveal Trailer

NCIS The Video Game Reveal Trailer

Murder, Espionage, Terrorism!

Written by litepink on 21 September 11 at 05:46

Ubisoft, publishers of other TV-to-game adaptations like Lost: Via Domus and the CSI titles, have revealed details for their upcoming NCIS: The Video Game:

For the first time ever, the world of the NCIS TV show comes to your home console and PC. Experience four original NCIS episodes created with the writers of the show, and travel across the USA and around the world to solve complex murder, espionage and terrorist cases as your favorite characters from the hit TV drama.

Key Features

PLAY AS THE CAST, BE PART OF THE FAMILY

Take on the role of the best NCIS team using the special skill set and field of expertise of each team member. Investigate crime scenes as agents Ziva David and Tony DiNozzo, conduct forensics analyses as Abby and victim autopsies as Ducky, interrogate and break suspects as Gibbs, and use satellite tracking to apprehend bad guys on the run as McGee. The game also features cameo appearances by some of the show’s most popular characters, such as NCIS director Leon Vance and Anthony DiNozzo Sr., Agent DiNozzo’s father.

YOUR OWN NCIS ADVENTURE

An all-new NCIS story arc written with the writers of the show. From a Casino in Atlantic City, USA, to a luxury hotel in Dubai, UAE, work as the NCIS team to save the day. Discover exciting connections between four original cases as you crack each one, and work towards solving the overall investigation.

ENJOY THE NCIS TEAM CAMARADERIE

Bond with your favorite NCIS characters and get first-hand experience with the group’s humor, personality quirks, and defining characteristics. Interact with the characters through layers of storyline and dialogue designed to make you an integral part of the cast’s compelling dynamic.

TOTAL NCIS EXPERIENCE

As in the show, use your guts and the cutting edge of technology to solve cases. Engage in varied mini-games and activities: search crime scenes for clues and collect evidence; use the latest forensic tools and perform autopsies; conduct dramatic suspect interrogations; put your reflexes to the tests in tense action sequences. Finally piece the clues together using your wits to deduct the truth.
If you prefer visual evidence, a reveal trailer was made available featuring all your favorite characters. Yup, even the quirky gothic girl with pigtails:

Currently in its 8th Season, NCIS is the #1-rated drama series on television in the US, averaging 20 million weekly prime time viewers. It airs in over 120 territories worldwide. Ubisoft looks to capitalize on this success and deliver an authentic and original experience to the show's fans on the Xbox 360.

We can expect NCIS: The Video Game soon, as Ubisoft promises an Autumn release date.

This is an amazing show (just finished watching the season premier), but I'm worried it will follow suit for every other movie / TV show game I've ever played, and suck horribly.

I hate being reminded of that shameful LOST game. All I can ever think about is what potential a LOST game has, and how they failed to create anything of merit. And I'm the biggest LOST fan in the world.

OT: This game should be just as sloppy as LOST and CSI.

All I know of NCIS is this scene: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u8qgehH3kEQ
The stupidity of that scene has caused me to never even consider watching an episode of it.
I miss the good old days of WW2 Call of Duty

That doesn't look bad at all. I just hope it will be nothing like a CSI game, and I'm sure it will do just fine.

I love this show, and I am SO afraid of how this game is going to turn out. However, like any other game, I will give it the 'ole college try. Hopefully, I am wrong in it being a suckfest.

I love the series, but is it just me, or do these graphics look seriously dated by today's standards? Character animation doesn't look like much to speak of either, if the video is anything to go by... real shame.

Hah, knew this would happen eventually. Shame the actual cast probably has nothing to do with it. Oh well. Don't judge a book by it's cover and such.

Character models could've been a little more detailed. DeNozo looks like an average blank copy of a dude. It's all about the voices. If they got the real actors, then it's potential. Part of why LOST sucked so hard is they used a made up character, and none of the actors' voices were in the game. Jack didn't sound like Jack, Locke wasn't Locke, etc....etc...
