Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has released the launch trailer for their uber-anticipated, Rocksteady-developed sequel, http://www.trueachievements.com/Batman-Arkham-City-xbox....htm
It's hard to believe that Rocksteady could possibly better the originality and gameplay of smash-hit http://www.trueachievements.com/Batman-Arkham-Asylum-xb....htm
, however, said trailer gives plenty of evidence to the contrary.
Feel free to judge for yourself:
The upcoming title will feature new combat moves, more enemy variety
, and the option to play as Batman himself, his trusty sidekick Robin
or even Catwoman
(the latter being courtesy of the Batman VIP Pass
, which was revealed earlier today).
The launch trailer isn't the only eye candy on show. The following screenshots will hit you like a takedown move that Batman would be proud of.Batman: Arkham City
glides onto Xbox 360 on October 18th in North America, October 19th in Australia, and October 21st in Europe. PC gamers will have to wait with baited breath, as the title will release
on that platform in November.
