Joe Danger Listed on Korean Game Rating Board

Once PSN-exclusive title likely headed to XBLA

Written by litepink on 24 October 11 at 19:22

A classification listing for a game titled Joe Danger Special Edition has popped up on the Korean Game Ratings Board, with the details kindly translated by Eurogamer (although you can have some mild success with an online translator like Bing).

Joe Danger was launched exclusively for the PSN by Hello Games in 2010. The game is a stunt bike platformer with a fun, colorful, cartoony style.

The Xbox game's listed publisher is Microsoft Korea, which leads us to believe that an XBLA offering of Joe Danger is coming soon. The news also fuels the notion that the game's sequel Joe Danger: The Movie would indeed make it to Xbox 360 as rumored.

Stay tuned for more details on these Joe Danger titles.

Sounds like a game version of the movie Hot Rod. Do I get to fight Dad in this game?

Quite similar in scope, if not in style, to Trials HD.

I'm pretty sure the developers were in either EDGE or GAMESTM complaining that they couldn't develop for both platforms as it was too expensive....

I'm kind of surprised to hear this after MS said they don't want other systems "leftovers". Which is a bad policy to have imo, they should bring as many games as they can to their audience.

I tried the demo of this on the PSN, thought it was ok.
Is it really an achievement if it's easy or everyone has it?

Saw a preview in GI a while back about this game.
And I was pretty down it wasn't on 360.

Hopefully it's on its way now, looks kinda like a Trials kinda game.

If you buy this over Trials HD/Evolution then you have no idea what's good for you.

I have this game on the PS3, it is great news that it is coming to the 360. I absolutely love this game, I found it far more enjoyable than the overrated Trials HD.

This way, it's more of a scare tactic for developers that are considering launching future titles first on PSN. As this game came out in 2010, maybe they'll make an exception. That and, well, with all the good press it's been getting they'd be silly not to accept it.
