Gears 3 Horde DLC Delayed [UPDATE]

By Michelle Balsan,
Update: The "Horde Command Pack" is now live! You can pick it up here for 800 MSP. Those of you who have already purchased the Season Pass should have the DLC available to you now at no cost.

Original Story:
Bad news, Gears fans. Apparently, the upcoming Horde Command Pack DLC for Epic's blockbuster third-person shooter, Gears of War 3, has hit a technical snag and will be delayed as a result. The nature of the hold up wasn't revealed in any more detail, though here's the word from the Official Epic Forums about the delay:

The scheduled Horde Command Pack release for Gears of War 3 is temporarily delayed due to a technical issue. We apologize to those of you who are anxiously awaiting to play. We know this is disappointing news as we’ve seen a lot of posts today showing excitement for this content. We have folks working around the clock to resolve this issue ASAP so you can all play and enjoy the Command Pack.
Epic also did not specify the amount of time this snag might keep us waiting, so it could be mere hours or days. Here's Epic's community manager, raczilla's report on why they won't specify a time:

I understand the frustration but it would be unfair to communicate an ETA that we don't have. Better to give you solid information when we know more. And we'll be sure to do that as soon as have details.
We'll be sure to update this article with news on the delay as it becomes available. For now, you can head here to watch a video showing off what will be contained in the DLC once it arrives.

We've got the full list of Gears of War 3 achievements - check the list for guides to unlocking them.
