Dr Pepper BF3 DLC Giveaway

Dr Pepper BF3 DLC Giveaway

Just what the doctor ordered

Written by N0T PENNYS B0AT on 02 November 11 at 09:37

The doctor is in, and contrary to what Christopher Walken may have taught you, the only prescription to your fever is not more cowbell, but rather free Battlefield 3 goodies. Don't get too excited, the giveaway doesn't include the upcoming 'Back to Karkand' Map Pack, but it does still offer some cool gear for anyone who wants it.

The list of freebies includes a character skin and five unique Dog Tags. Among the popular Dog Tags are an evidently deceased Hello Kitty and a Six Wolf Moon, which, according to my calculations, is two times as epic as the Three Wolf Moon. Every specially-marked bottle or can of the soda wins something, but read the fine print and you'll see you won't even need to purchase any soda - which is good, because you've been eating way too much Halloween candy. Just signing up at Dr Pepper's official site will allow you to download any of the micro-downloads you want for free.

I believe this is USA only.. This is really frustrating me now, is it really so hard for the newshounds to post 'USA ONLY' instead of making us go on to the site, get halfway down the page of signing up and be asked for a ZIP CODE..

Yea, read the fine print people. He didn't say you didn't need a code, he just said you didn't need to purchase soda. If you read the official rules, you can mail a self-addressed envelope to get a FREE code here.......

A lot of these Dr Pepper giveaways have worldwide codes that can be used multiple times. This was the case with BFBC2 and ME2. The codes worked outside of the US as long as you make a fake email and US address. No idea if that is the case now.

I'd like another skin. I'm too attached to my dinosaur tag, but the dead Hello Kitty does give it a run for it's money.

Unfortunately though, I don't like Dr Pepper roll

Summery of EA in 6 points:
1. Lack of moderators (with moderating achievements and in general)
2. Shutting down servers making unobtainable cheevos
3. First day sever crashes
4. Online passes
5. Terrible support
6. D/L codes that don't work Like in BF3,ME2..etc.

The only plus side is, that they usually release DLC's for most games.

You can get those Dr.Pepper codes all 6 off ebay for $2.20 and all you have to do when signing up is use any zip code from the US and link it to your EA origin account and they will unlock. I can confirm this works on UK accounts!
