By Michelle Balsan, 5 years ago
Last week, we brought you up to speed about EA's video series for their upcoming XBLA sports title, http://www.trueachievements.com/NFL-Blitz-xbox-360.htm, titled "Two-Minute Drill".

This week's entry gives us all the details we could ever want about the game's Co-op mode:

NFL Blitz, which is being developed EA Tiburon, is scheduled to arrive on January 4th, 2012.

She's also seen pretty much none of the movies you have, but she's working on that.

Loved the original series, looking forward to trying this one! Really wish they still had the sidelines people to tackle, but as long as I can still tackle the opponent team in between plays and do a crazy amount of pass interference, it should be a good game!

I try not to buy any EA games with online achievements due to that. AoT:TFD is the last one I got.

Looks just like Blitz 64 with tons of additional modes. Sounds awesome to me.

Interesting. Basic co-op stuff. I'm definitely up for checking out the demo and hoping for a DOTW down the line, since I'm guessing it'll be 1200msp. I had the original game on the PC back in the day... "Spins, spins, leaps, hurdles, [sprouts wings, flies away]... TOUCHDOWN!" Frustrating at times, but lots of fun. I upgraded my first video card to play Blitz.

I spent WAY too much money, as a teenager, on this game in the arcade

The Buccaneers and the Cowboys used to be the best teams in the game when this was in the Arcade for me...shows you how old it is lol

The Blitz: The League games were the only reason I learned anything about the sport of football to begin with. I literally had never even seen a game played until my buddy talked to into playing the first one by virtue of it's gritty edge and excessive violence. Without those aspects and the cool "Story Mode"s... I'm just not interested.

Doubt I'll play much of the co-op however it is always fun for a couple of games I suppose. Gotta love being a receiver running random routes.
You seem a little furious...
