The Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning Guide to Combat

The Inside Reckoning series of developer diaries for Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning sees a variety of the development team at Big Huge Games explaining different aspects of the game in great detail. So far, we've featured their take on destiny & fate and cinematics. The latest instalment sees Lead Combat Designer Joe Quadara, Animator Chris Cox, and Lead Animator Young Vo discussing combat.

If that isn't enough for you, one of the previous Inside Reckoning videos approached the subject of narrative design. With fantasy author R.A. Salvatore and Elder Scrolls' Ken Rolston handling the game's storyline, the chances are that the narrative design will be pretty impressive. Narrative Designers Erik J. Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is due to be released on February 7th, 2012 in North America, February 9th in Australasia and February 10th in Europe.
