Ghost Recon: Future Soldier Delayed

Bad news Ghost Recon fans. If you, like me, have been eager to get your hands on the latest title in the series, there's another delay to the launch date. Ubisoft have detailed that the new launch date pushes the title back to May 25th. Here's the full statement from Ubisoft's Adrian Lacey:

Ubisoft prides itself on creating some of the most compelling and innovative experiences in digital entertainment. Today we are feature complete in our MP, Single player and 4 player coop campaign modes. We have taken the decision to move the date in order to ensure that all these ingredients are pushed to the highest level and provide a truly unique shooter experience. The Ghost Recon franchise is known for setting the standard of high definition gaming and we believe the extra couple of months will allow us to reach that goal. We would like to thank all Ghost Recon fans for their patience and look forward to unveiling some exciting new elements in the coming weeks.
As is so often the case with these announcements, the reasons given are for polishing up the game, and this statement is of course no exception. However, Ubisoft did confirm that the multiplayer beta will be live in April, but there's no fixed date given. Hopefully this is the last time we have to bring you the words 'Future Soldier' followed by 'delayed'.
