Happy Action Theater Coming in February

We've heard plenty lately about http://www.trueachievements.com/Kinect-Rush-A-Disney-Pi....htm, one of Microsoft's Playful Learning titles that was announced at the end of last year. What we haven't heard too much about is Double Fine Happy Action Theater, which was delayed from its initial Holiday release window.

Today at the CES, Joystiq confirmed that Happy Action Theater is due for release on the Xbox LIVE Arcade in Early February. Of course, with the upcoming House Party promotion starting on February 15th, that means we can safely assume that the game will release on either February 1st or February 8th. Happy Action Theater will feature 18 Kinect-infused mini-games where the point isn't really to win, but to have fun.

For those of you wondering why the title was not invited to the House Party, it was simply a matter of demographics, as the 2-12 age range that Happy Action Theater is aimed at is just a touch different than those who will be eagerly awaiting their download of Alan Wake's American Nightmare.
