I thought that the lack of new sales last week was bad. This week is worse. HMV renames its sale but has very little to show for it. TheHut starts a small American Sports category sale. Otherwise, we have weekly offerings from Shopto and TheHut. Even some of the previous sales have ended, with retailers choosing not to replace them at this point in time. To fill the gap a little and to reduce my workload next week, some of the continuing sales receive a reminder a week early.
As usual you need to click on the name of the retailer or the name of the deal to be taken straight to the retailer’s offer page. Further details on the deals, including the best pick of the sale items, can be found in the ‘details here’ link, which will take you back to the relevant UK deal roundup that described the sale in more detail. Clicking on the name of a game will take you to the achievement list.
To start off the new sales of the week,
HMV has renamed their current sale to ‘Great Value Games from £9.99’. There are only five Xbox 360 titles included though, and of those, only
Shaun White Skateboarding is worth considering at £7.99.
Shopto’s Xbox 360 Star Buys only include
Halo 3 at £7.85. Meanwhile, their
Xbox 360 Weekly Specials only include
Dead Space for £9.85,
Awakening in Dragon Age: Origins for £8.86 and
GoldenEye 007: Reloaded for £22.85.
TheHut has started an American Sports promotion. These games can not be found for less elsewhere:
•
Madden NFL 11 - £24.95
•
Madden NFL 12 - £24.95
•
Major League Baseball 2K11 - £14.95
•

TheHut’s Super Six deals have only kept one of the promotional codes this week. Buyers can save £5 when spending over £50 when the code JANUARY50 is entered at the checkout. As part of these offers, there is also an offer on
uDraw items.
Pictionary: Ultimate Edition is £14.95 here.
