Doom Relisted on the Marketplace

By Michelle Balsan, 4 years ago
Way, way back in October of 2010, the sad news was broken that both Doom (Arcade) and Double D Dodgeball had been pulled from the Xbox LIVE Arcade service. No reason was given for the removal at the time, but the assumption was that it came down to licensing. With Zenimax media having acquired id Software at the time, the then-Activision published titles were pulled unceremoniously from the Marketplace.

Now we have some good news to share as Doom has been restored to the Marketplace; just Bethesda, a subsidiary of Zenimax, is now listed as the publisher.

If you want to download the title, you can do so here for 400 MSP. There's no word as to whether or not Double D Dodgeball will return, but if it does, we'll let you know!
