Mushihime-sama HD Coming to the 360

Makoto Asada, the head of development at Cave, has revealed to Japanese gaming publication Famitsu that Cave is presently at work bringing Mushihime-Sama HD to the Xbox 360. "Mushihime", for those who don't know, translates out to "Bug Princess", which is the title of the game's iOS port. The game is a bullet hell title that involves the story of one of the few human settlements that continue to exist in the time of the game's events. In order to continue to be protected, however, the village must sacrifice a 15-year-old girl every 200 years. When the coming sacrifice does not happen, the girl at the center of the story, Reco, must try to stop the contagion from killing the village.

According to the Famitsu article, the company is currently in the final stages of deciding what game modes should be included in the 360 version. No release date is yet known, nor have regions been specified other than Japan. There is some speculation that the disc will include Mushihime-sama Futari Ver 1.5, but we don't know for sure if that's the case yet. It's also been said that by Mr. Asada that this will be the final Cave game on the Xbox 360 as they move on to a different development.
