My love of Pinball FX 2
is well known at this point and if you didn't know, well now you do. I also love old-school RPGs and we have not had a decent Pinball-RPG since 1990's Pinball Quest
for the NES. Don't believe me that this game actually existed? Feast your eyes on the magic of Youtube!
The insane geniuses at Zen Studios have taken the RPG-Pinball formula and updated it for modern times with their latest table, "EpicQuest". This table follows Max, a loot-loving Knight, as he battles evil (or "evil-looking" monsters), rescues the wealthy princess and earns enough phat loot and XP to last a lifetime. All of Max's loot and levels will carry over from game to game, even if he dies a tragic, ignoble death. Here's your first look at "EpicQuest":
While I love the design and overall look of this table, as usual, there's no way to know how it plays until we can get our hands on it. Thankfully we will not have to wait much longer, as the "EpicQuest" DLC will be available later this month.
While no price or achievements have been announced, history has shown that it will be available for 240 MSP and include three achievements worth 50G.
