Did you try taking it to a local movie rental store? They normally have disk buffers. I've taken a couple of games to a Family Video here and they charge $1 to buff the disk; it worked for both.
This is a geat weekend for me and my buddy to start playing this online. I just finished all the offline achievements, including "sage" after my second attempt because of the glitch  .

Yeah level 20 will come really quickly with double xp! It's not even that bad with normal xp. I got it after a few hours of just normal play.
Anybody confirm that the Mediterranean pack achievements can be unlocked with the trial download? |

Doubtful. If they can, that's awesome, but I've never seen achievements available with free versions of paid DLC (not that there's many situations to decide from) |

Nope, via the french Ubisoft forums:
Non, la version d'essai du DLC ne permet pas de débloquer des Succès/Trophées, il faut acheter le DLC pour pouvoir les débloquer.
No, the trial version does not allow to unlock achievements/trophies, you have to buy the DLC. |

| Lovely, on Super Bowl Weekend no less. It really doesn't take that long to get to level 20 with double xp anyways. I guess it kinda lines up nice with the free gold weekend though. |

I can also confirm (after trying with the first guy who completed the game 1240/1240 on here) that trying the achievements in the trial version does not work. Just like any other demo unfortunately =/ if I wasn't so stubborn about a timestamp for Sage and I had the Ancestor Pack (at the time) I mighta been #1...ah well. =) next DLC, maybe.
I'm wondering if I should join any sessions for getting a higher level...just in case the next DLC wants us to hit level 50 OR dare I say prestige...for an achievement of course. |

| If this weekend is your first time playing AC: Revelations' multiplayer and you're not enjoying it - give 'Corruption' a try. It's the only game mode I really enjoyed, and completely changed my opinion of the multiplayer part of the game. |
