GSPM Sign-Ups Extended

By Michelle Balsan, 4 years ago
A couple of weeks ago, we brought to you the details about the GSPM (now known as the Gamerscore Super Pwnageddon Marathon!), a nearly year-long competition open to members of the TrueAchievements community.

To ensure that the competition runs as smoothly as it possibly can, just a little more time was needed to iron out some details. Everything's settled now, so registration has been extended to allow teams to get the skinny on the updated rules before jumping into the fray.

Contest organizer Sashamorning summed up the big changes as follows:
So, after much delay, these are the final rules. Notable changes:
*A 1-point bonus to the team with the highest ratio. Must have a minimum of 1k as a team to qualify.
*No-cheating rule is in place. It always was, but we wanted to formalize it.
For a full list of contest rules, head here.

Also, for those of you who don't recall, here are the details as to how to sign up for the GSPM:

Once you have your team ready, here's what you do:
*You MUST sign up for the GSPM leaderboard here: Gamerscore Super Pwnageddon Marathon!
*Go to the registration page: GSPM Registration Page
*Fill in your team name and the members of your team. Pick one person as the leader/spokesperson.
*Go to the validation thread and post the name of your team. That way we know that you are really on that team!
*The validation thread is here: GSPM validation thread
Finally, here's the important stuff for most of you, here are the notable dates for the GSPM:
New registration deadline: Feb 6, 11:59 PM PST
New competition start date: Feb 9, 12:00 AM PST
The first contest period will run from Feb 9 (12:00 AM PST) - Feb 18 (11:59 PM PST)
That means you have until this Monday at 11:59PM to register! If you still need a teammate or two (remember, each team must have three people!), go to this thread to find teammates!

Good luck to all who enter!

Please be aware that the GSPM, like the GTASC, is not run by or officially affiliated with TrueAchievements. The competitons are run by and are the responsibility of their respective organizers
