By now, most baseball fans are familiar with 2K's promotion that awards a million dollars to the first gamer to pitch a perfect game in their annual baseball release. This year, 2K is changing things up a bit in Major League Baseball 2K12.

Justin Verlander, 2011 AL Cy Young Award Winner, MVP, and a man whose fastballs are so fast, they went back in time and struck out Babe Ruth, explains it in high comedic fashion... as ably assisted by newly signed Angel, C.J. Wilson.

Major League Baseball 2K12 is set to hit retailers on March 6th, 2012; just in time for Spring Training.

I'm still wondering what constitutes the "8 best perfect games" to be the 8 best. Did I miss something on how a perfect game can somehow be more perfect? Think they'll go by strikeouts??

I am assuming it will utilize strikeouts, strikes thrown, and number of pitches thrown, also among other things like how well you do during your batting and such...
