It's funny that when I owned a Gamecube I used to yearn for a decent RPG. The only decent ones I ever had were Baiten Kaitos, Skies of Arcadia and Tales of Symphonia.
Now though more and more seem to be coming out (discounting the annual sporting rehashes, RPGs seem to be the second biggest genre after FPS atm) and with such saturation I think I'm becoming a little more disinterested each time.
Still waiting for a console RPG with a story to rival BG2 or Planescape as well... |

| Can anybody tell how this plays respectively which games gameplay is comparable! I hope this differs from the boring kind of gameplay of Skyrim and at least goes a little bit towards Dark Souls. |

| It does look tasty and by all accounts is a brilliant game but the footage of combat that I've seen reminds me of Too Human and smacks of PC gaming. Luckily I have more than enough to keep me occupied until this drops in price after its release. |

A really good story it swallows you in right from the start. Everything you choose takes you to a different path but it's so complex that it is not like an evil side or a good side path their are numerous paths to take. To make it even more exciting for the story they have timers to answer the questions and you can't pause before that so the story makes turns how you want it too. Tons of side quests.
If they keep the controls the same as the pc one's then that would be awesome imo.
For me this is a day one CE buy!
