Skullgirls Introduces A New Character

If only one thing could be said about Reverge Labs' upcoming XBLA fighter, it might be that the character design is both memorable and visually striking. Of course, this may not be surprising given that Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game's Alex Ahad is heading up the artistry on the title.

Thus far, we've seen Nurse Valentine, Painwheel, and others recieve introductions. Today, however, it's all about Double.

Here's a little summary of the character who is, undoubtedly, the most mysterious Skullgirl.
Double’s origins are a complete mystery. Seemingly without a will or motive of its own, this formless monster aids the Skullgirl.

Double is capable of transforming its nightmarish form into that of any person, but often appears as a smiling nun. It can frequently be found in the Grand Cathedral of the Divine Trinity, listening to confessions and attending to the catacombs beneath.

Skullgirls is still on target for an 'early 2012' release.
