For those of you not familiar with it, Young Justice is a cartoon series that airs on the Cartoon Network and is based around DC Comics characters. Teenaged heroes Robin, Aqualad, Kid Flash, Superboy, Miss Martian and Artemis use their unique skills to do battle with villains from the DC Universe, all the while acting as a covert operations team for the Justice League. Of course, their youth means they are inexperienced, and they have much learning to do to become the super heroes they are capable of being.

Young Justice: Legacy will bridge the stories of the first and second season of the TV series. The game will be an online and local Multiplayer Action RPG featuring an assortment of "fan favorite playable characters [and] cameo appearances by popular Justice League heroes and villains". To ensure that the game stays true to the cartoon series, show writers Greg Weisman and Brandon Vietti contributed to the game's story.

Matt Scott, CEO of Little Orbit, had the following to say about the title:
The TV series is a fantastic combination of compelling writing, witty humor, iconic art, and exciting action sequences. The creators have done an amazing job blending over 180 DC Comics characters into their show filtered through a new, youthful perspective. The new video game contains a slew of cool features and a large playable cast of familiar heroes, but our core mission is to create a unique experience that fits seamlessly into the world of the show and offers a new way to interact with these popular DC Comics characters.
Young Justice: Legacy does not yet have a solid release date, but we'll be sure to bring you that information as soon as it's available.
