Fez Once Again Dated [UPDATE]

By Michelle Balsan, 4 years ago
Update: ... Or maybe not. Seems the release date posted on Xbox.com is not the actual release date as Phil Fish has noted to Joystiq. Just as we've done to this point, we'll be sure to give you release date details as they become available.

Original Story
Remember Polytron Corporation's Fez? Well, you probably should - it's the indie-darling that's actually been in existence since 2008, which we first brought to your attention with a gameplay trailer last March.

Fez was initially slated for a 2010 release on the Xbox LIVE Arcade before getting pushed back to 2011. Then, sadly, the game was once again delayed, this time to an 'Early 2012' window.

Now, we have another release date to share with you, but given that the source for this is the game's Xbox.com page, we're pretty sure this date is likely to stick. For those of you who have been anxiously awaiting your opportunity to try this unique XBLA platformer, your day will come on May 2nd, 2012.
