Wow. That was what I first said when I fired up Orbitron: Revolution for the first time. The menu for this game is one of the most beautifully crafted menus I have seen on an Xbox Live Indie Game. But the wow factor didn't stop there. Every pixel in this game is beautifully crafted into a great side-scrolling shooter reminiscent of Gradius or R-type from years gone by.

You will love the great time and care that went into crafting such a great looking game. And believe me, you will come to love the fact they spent so much time on the visuals, because this game is challenging and addictive. With the included leader-boards, you will find yourself spending hours trying to best your friends for the top spot.

With such polish, this game could easily fetch 800 MSP as an Xbox Live Arcade title, but you get such a steal by only having to pay 240 MSP to add this gem to your Xbox Live Indie Games collection. This is definitely one of the top titles you should try if you have never checked out an Indie Game before.

If you have an Xbox Live Indie Game that you feel should be featured in an edition of the Indie Games Spotlight, please PM your suggestions to mancide.

When not enjoying video games, our fearless newshound enjoys an nice pint of fermented barley and hops in a variety of styles. India Pale Ales, Stouts, Porters, Witbiers, Saisons, Gose, Lambics, Barleywine, you name it. If it has water, malted barley, hops and yeast in it, I'll consume it. I also enjoy all things technological, Doctor Who, wrasslin, traveling, and spending time with my family.
