Bringing More Rhythm to Rhythm Party

Bringing More Rhythm to Rhythm Party

Song Pack No. 3 emerges

Written by Rebecca Smith (punkyliar) on 29 February 12 at 22:00

Two weeks ago, Rhythm Party received the first two song pack add-ons. The Kinect XBLA dance game has now added a third song pack to for gamers to use to extend their in-game music library. The pack adds three more songs but, unfortunately, does not add any new achievements.

This is Rhythm Party Song Pack No. 3. New songs and stages have been added. “All Around The World” by Stacey Q, “?VOLUTI?N” by T??RA, “El ritmo te controla” by Jeanette Herrera."Song Pack No. 3" costs 240 MSP and can be downloaded from here.

This game looks interesting but lacks a strong track list in my opinion.

I wish that they could have figured out this thing with song packs when they made Dance Evolution (DanceMasters) since that songlist is substantially better from the get go compared to Rhythm Partys and the gameplay requires at least some skill. Heck, it's not even like DE is dead in the ditch anyways since they recently released the (IRL) arcade version of it with additional songs.

It's an Arcade game so you shouldn't have expected much more tracks than present. DDR games (aside from the original S) on iPod/iPhone (which are all delisted except S plus) all came with 3 songs as well as their other rhythm games.

If it isn't retail or Arcade Konami won't add a big setlist.
