Fable Heroes Announcement Trailer

Fable Heroes Announcement Trailer

Includes a glimpse of a minecart level, remember those?

Written by Dog of Thunder on 07 March 12 at 04:45 | Credit to METAL MIN0TAUR

It seems like just yesterday we talked about Fable Heroes. Since then, a video has appeared giving us a quick rundown of what to expect out of the newest iteration of the Fables franchise.

At this point, I'm going to do nothing but say that we do not have a set release date for when Fable Heroes will be available on the XBLA marketplace. It's your turn to discuss this in our comments section.

Thanks to all of the community members who sent this one in!

I loved Fable 1, 2, and 3 and have been looking forward to the next installment. Then, they announce that Fable 4 will be Kinect only. So, I can't play the next Fable unless I want to jump around the room like a 9 year old. I was already frustrated that they were removing the guns to make it more "Kinect-able." Then, these jokers announce that it wouldn't be "Better with Kinect" Oh no, It would "require Kinect." Super Gay!!

Achivement unlocked: The Traitor :)

Definitely a castle crashers rip off although it looks interesting and possibly worth buying. I'm wondering if there is a SP campaign...?

Looks ok rite now, the gameplay seemed boring and empty at the start of the video but built up. Also the characters are too child-like. Also I have animosity towards fable ever since that absolutely horrid fable 2 glitch facepalm

I get the feeling that Lionhead studios is being forced by Microsoft to keep creating Fable games... This studio should create new IP's and gameplay ideas not concentrate on this good-but-nothing-special series. Lionhead is turning into the next Rare thanks to Microsoft :(

Peter Molyneux wants to make 'the perfect game' it's like an obsession, that's why he tries to make every game better than the last, he's just trying a different route. And why the hate on Rare as well? They've only made what they want and not what they're forced to make. They didn't do a second kinect sports, someone else did. They only did 2 viva pinatas. Banjo made a trilogy - but who says you shouldn't make sequels?

Fable is a great series anyway. 1 wasn't so good but 2 and 3 are superb, and with spin offs like Fable Coin Golf and this one, they can churn out as many games as they like. They're trying to appeal to a vast market overall, but if that doesn't interest you, why are you even on this news link?

In 2002when Microsoft bought RARE they had to do what they said as microsoft own 100% of the company. When they announced kinect they said RARE could only make kinect games now. Kinect Sports 2 was developed by RARE and BigPark. I wish they were allowed to make real games though Banjo was great, they made Goldeneye and Viva Pinata is amazing!

The thing about Peter Molyneux though is true. He makes some great games all somehow better than the last but for me he dropped the ball in fable 3, compared to fable 2 it wasn't that good.
