UK Deal Roundup for March 13th, 2012

By Rebecca Smith, 4 years ago
I’ll start with the bad news. Since beginning this article nearly a year ago, my circumstances have changed to the point where I can’t put in as much time to this article as I could before. To make it more manageable, the reminder section is absent this week and is likely to be absent from now onwards. I’ll still be covering the new sales on a weekly basis and all of the previous sales will still be mentioned in the newly titled continuing sales section. Consoles will also be making their regular monthly appearance.

The good news is that there are quite a few new sales. GAME and Gamestation begin their attempt at survival before the two week deadline is up. HMV brings back an old favourite, while Play and TheHut start new promotions. Despite Shopto’s disappointing no-show this week, ASDA, Play and TheHut have weekly offers.

As usual you need to click on the name of the retailer or the name of the deal to be taken straight to the retailer’s offer page. Further details on the deals, including the best pick of the sale items, can be found in the ‘details here’ link, which will take you back to the relevant UK deal roundup that described the sale in more detail. Clicking on the name of a game will take you to the achievement list. All prices were correct at the time of writing.

To start off the new sales of the week, ASDA has an offer where buyers can get a Kinect sensor with Kinect Adventures and Mass Effect 3 for £110.

GAME’s financial woes have been public knowledge for a while now and their last ditch attempt at salvation begins with their Spring Clean. Gamestation has called it a Prices Smashed sale, but the deals are the same. Here are what few deals are still left in stock:
