Duo of Lollipop Chainsaw Trailers Released

It takes an awful lot to get most games going. Of course, there are the graphics and sound that need tending to, but one thing that many of the greatest games that have been released on the recent generations of consoles share is great voice acting. When the job is done right, you can believe (despite the craziness of the situations they're in) that the characters are right there having the conversation as two actual people might.

To ensure that their upcoming Lollipop Chainsaw reaches this standard, Grasshopper Manufacture and Kadokawa Games have brought on a host of A-Level talents to bring the characters who will share screen time with Juliet, as well as the heroine herself, to life. They've also released a video featuring the voice actors:

In addition to Jimmy Euringer (a.k.a. Little Jimmy Urine), the following talents will appear in the game:

Juliet - Tara Strong (Harley Quinn in Batman: Arkham City)
Nick - Michael Rosenbaum (Lex Luthor in Smallville)
Cordelia - Linda Cardelleni (Lindsay Weir in Freaks and Geeks)
Juliet's Father - Gregg Henry (24, United 93, Black Dahlia)
Swan - Sean Gunn (Super, Gilmore Girls)
Vikke - Michael Rooker (Walking Dead)
Mariska - Shawnee Smith (Saw)

Lollipop Chainsaw will be released June 12th in North America, June 14th in Japan, and June 15th in Europe. Check out the pre-order bonuses over here.

She can be compelled to play just about anything if there's a co-op component, and has been playing games with friends and siblings since the Atari 2600. She's also seen pretty much none of the movies you have, but she's working on that.
