TA Competition: Dress To Impress!

Calling all arty TrueAchievement hunters!

Calling all TrueAchievement hunters with an arty side! We're due to switch across to our new Facebook page layout soon, and we'd like to give you the chance to dress us up!

We're holding a competition to see which member of the community can design us the best cover image between now and next Sunday (April 1st). Not only will our best liked submission become emblazoned across our Facebook page for all to see, but they'll bag themselves TWO YEARS of TA Pro account goodness! Nice!

So what are we looking for? We want something that encapsulates us here at TrueAchievement, and to get that we're giving you creative control. Get creative and let your skills do the talking! The only technical stipulation according to Facebook's Help Centre, is that the cover photo should be at least 399 pixels wide. For your design considerations, the 'official' font style of the TrueAchievements text is Trebuchet MS.

You can send your submissions straight to me through davie[at]trueachievements.com, or host them online and link me to them through a PM or e-mail. We can't wait to see what you guys come up with! If we have a good array of front runners we'll hold a community vote through our Facebook page to select our winner!

Yeah, how about a vector logo and some graphics standard guidelines? I'd assume achievement images and copyrighted game imagery is bad form.

The main font in the current banner is a close variation of Helvetica & Century Gothic as (was?) stated above. ;) So close you could make the adjustments (slanted ends, plus the i serif) yourself to the final pixels if it's not a stock variant.
I have not yet begun to procrastinate!

Yeah, we do need some proper vector logos to use on our designs, also for others planning to do this, I recommend dimensions of 1920 x 710px as 399 width would look quite blurry and misshaped.

Edit: I hope you revisit us to explain what you're looking for. "[An image] at least 399 pixels wide" is not exactly thorough, unless all you want is an inbox littered with bad copy-pasta and Photoshop filters.

Damn I seen the Achievement Tile and was hoping it may have been a uDraw competition.
Good luck to the entrants though, I will be sitting this one out due to lack of skill :/

I don't have a creative bone in my body. But I seriously admire the people that do, and are brave enough to share it with the entire world (or site in this case).
