You all have gone and done it again. Less than a week after "Community Race Day 2" in Need for Speed: ProStreet was activated, Need For Speed's Community Manager, NFSDrew has shared some very exciting news regarding Need for Speed: Carbon.

You know this achievement?

Need for Speed: Carbon Race Week The Race Week achievement in Need for Speed: Carbon worth 27 pointsFinish an Online race during a Race Week


It is once again active and yours for the earning! Unlike the ProStreet situation, these servers do not have an imminent closure, so you probably have a little time. We'd certainly advise you not to wait, though!

In other Need for Speed online-achievement news, Drew also posted that "Community Race Day 2" in ProStreet will be on until about April 9th at which point it will be turned off so that "Community Race Day 1" can be reactivated.

Yes, you read that right. If you don't have NFS: ProStreet now, it is possible to complete all online achievements before the servers close, just remember, you only have till April 9th to earn "Community Race Day 2" and till April 13th before the servers shut down altogether.

You never know about that glitched achievement but either way I am happy as it is another previously discontinued achievement unlocked for me! smile

I got that achievement when the game first came out. That's nice of them to make that available to those who don't have it, but like a few others are saying, I wish they would patch this glitched achievement:

Thats the ONLY one keeping me from 100% this game... :(

Still unsure if I should actually bother with this game. Yes great stuff they have made race week active but as I have read the game has unobtainable/glitched cheevos so unfortunately I am not impressed.

Awesome! Can't wait to get home and finally get this achievement. Honestly the only discontinued achievement I have from EA. The rest are from NBA 2k and 1 vs 100. So I have to say that I've been pretty lucky.

But yes, Prostreet CAN be finished.
