The Witcher 2: Assassins Of Kings New Video

By Andrew Ogley, 4 years ago
At the end of last month we reported that the folks over at CD ProjektRed had released a short animated trailer answering the question What is a Witcher?. Now, in anticipation of the upcoming release of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings the studio has released another animation reminding gamers of the events leading up to the ending of the original game. This is probably a good idea given that the first game never made it onto the Xbox 360 and could well have been missed by those who never got around to playing it on the PC.

Be warned, the video contains some major spoilers concerning the storyline and events from the first game so consider this before watching the clip. It is also worth noting that the clip was age-gated by YouTube due to mature themes.

If the video has whet your appetite and you want to get that exclusive Dark Edition then unfortunately you are already too late as we have received news that that particular edition has now sold out in North America having already previously sold out in Europe a couple of weeks ago. However, the Enhanced Edition is still widely available.

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings remains scheduled for release on April 17th.
