Fairytale Gore Fest

By splicegraph, 7 years ago
Sneaking out from under the radar and onto store shelves across North America today, is a gorifically twisted little game from Playlogic Entertainment, Inc called Fairytale Fights. This hack and slash platform adventure features multi-player mayhem with up to 4 players giving gamers the choice to play characters such as a blood simple Little Red Riding Hood, a psychotic Snow White, a wigged out Jack (of Beanstalk Fame), a nutter Naked Emperor and others.

The game has the look of a CGI Saturday morning kids cartoon, à la Viva Piñata, with the ultra violence of Itchy and Sckratchy. The object of the game is to reclaim the fairytale status that has been taken away from you by another, but, the real appeal and focus of the game is the over-the-top violence which can be delivered in some very unique ways. Real-Time Dynamic Slicing (aka salami-violence) that allows you to carve up enemies into bitty pieces of meat by wiggling the analog stick as you attack with your weapon. This will then trigger the Volumetric Liquid spilling tens of thousands of gallons of blood. If hacking and slashing isn't your cup of tea then there is always the freezing, burning and melting with acid to tickle your fancy.

As a bonus for gamers who buy, or rent, the game within 90 days of release Playlogic is offering exclusive FREE DLC valued at over $15 by registering on the Fairytale Fights official website*. Once the downloadable content is available, bloodthirsty Fairytale Fights fans will receive exclusive redeemable codes, courtesy of Little Red Riding Hood!

Part of the FREE DLC will be exclusive to those who register on http://www.fairytalefights.com/dlc.

Fairytale Fights FREE DLC (for registered users) includes:

I filled out the form and received a confirmation email stating that if I was really nice, Little Red Riding Hood would send me something on my Birthday. I'm giddy with anticipation!
