Prototype 2 Weapons Trailer Released

Prototype 2 Weapons Trailer Released

For those times when you need more than just your super-human abilities

Written by Matrarch on 12 April 12 at 18:12

Lately, Radical Entertainment and Activision have shown us quite a bit about the vehicles we'll see in their upcoming Prototype 2. From vehicles in the air to those on the ground, game protagonist Sgt. James Heller is going to have plenty of items to unleash his fury on.

What today's video aims to show us is that, in addition to his super-human abilities, Sgt. Heller will have a variety of weapons to choose from as he seeks Alex Mercer.

Can't watch the video? Here's an image of the available in-game weaponry:

Prototype 2 will be released on April 24th, 2012 in North America and April 27th in Europe. Any orders placed before those dates will guarantee you a copy of the RADNET Edition of the game, so be sure to place that pre-order soon!

1st game was so disappointing, how could I possibly buy the 2nd one?

2nd game looks great compared to the first one. I didn't like the first one at first either. It wasn't until I went back and finished off all the achievments, did the game start to grow on me. Gonna get this for sure, though not at full retail. Maybe when it's in the $20-$30 range.
I'm gonna ninja you!!

Weapons? You're supposed to BE the weapon. Though the ability to change things up a bit will be nice compliment to your melee combat.

I can't get over how much more polished this game looks as compared to the first one. The graphics look really good.

Skyrim is also a very fun game, and the fact that you don't recognize it means you're the same as the guy that you're insulting. I agreed with you on the first part, but the you went and insulted Skyrim... :(

Each game has its qualities and you sound a lot less intelligent when you do exactly the same as those you are mocking.

I never picked up a gun in the first game, the weapon system was slow and awkward, guns had less destructive power than abilities and you could never aim properly. I might play this but will not be pre-ordering, need to start and finish playing Skyrim first :D

I might pick this up when it's on sale for around $20. I'm saving myself for Dragon's Dogma and The Witcher 2.
