007 Legends Coming This Fall

Activision has seemed pretty dedicated to their James Bond license. They've already released quite a few Xbox 360 games under the Bond name. The next one, which may just be the most ambitious yet, has recently been announced. It's called 007 Legends, and it's unlike any Bond adventure you've experienced.



The game allows you to play out six different eras of the James Bond saga. Activision and developer Eurocom were very light on the details. We still don't know what perspective the game will be in or which versions of Bond we'll be playing as, but they promise six differing movie narratives across the game's story mode.

In addition to the decade-spanning story mode, the game will see the return of Mi6 Ops missions like those seen in http://www.trueachievements.com/GE-007-Reloaded-xbox-360.htm, as well as four-player couch co-op modes and competitive online modes with weaponry and maps based on the varied decades of James Bond's adventures. Also, the game's story can be played out from points of view other than 007 himself. You can fill the shoes of his accomplices or even his arch-nemeses to see the game and the stories in a new way.

Beyond that, we know the game is due this fall sometime, but all the other details -- like is it a third-person or first-person game -- will have to wait until Activision shares some assets.
