Trio of Spec Ops: The Line Videos Out Now

Do you dare cross the line?

Written by N0T PENNYS B0AT on 19 April 12 at 07:56

The summer gaming months are more barren than the environments in this trio of new Spec Ops: The Line gameplay videos. Luckily, this game looks to be one of the few bright spots between June and August. If it weren't for E3, we gamers may have to even *gasp* go outside this summer!

These three new videos focus on the multiplayer modes, which is good, because we've seen plenty of single-player assets already. Check out the gameplay and decide if the online modes look like something that you can use to beat the heat.

Spec Ops crosses the line on June 26th in North America and June 29th in Europe.

Three different maps or just different parts of the same map, I couldn't tell the difference. What's with all the bright colours? And were the developers being paid per zipwire?
Sorry but if you're entering into the 'shooter' market you're gonna have to do a lot better then that to compete with the likes of BF, COD or GOW.

It would appear to have slight potential.. the sandstorm/weather effects are a cool idea if used correctly. If anything it looks a bit generic at the moment, but the color palette was nice. Hopefully it will be refined and be fun. I'm more interested in this for the single-player campaign however.

God, this game looks terrible! I was waiting for this game since they announce it, but right now i see that its like a game from the sunrise era of xbox360, looks very similar to first Army of Two. Graphics, animation, sound, everything just suck. Its definitely not looking like AAA project.

Looks promising but seems to lack balance. Looks like it has classes and the "scout/rouge" seems to turn invisable for holding still for a period of time this encourages camping.
The "Engineer" has way too many RPGs for a game with no vehicles and it has one hit kills so i can already see this multiplayer being broken on day one.
The grenades also have way too short a fuse they apear to explode almost on impact and some people in this video seemed to spam them
They also seemed to spawn camp right at the start of video one...
They should fix these issues... before this release

Am I the only one who wants to cancel their preorder after seeing this MP footage?

These guys look like they are slogging through cottage cheese when they are walking.

Too many people are trying to tack on MP to games that will never compete with other titles and the overall game quality suffers because of it.

Oh I'll cross the line! I'll cross the line, step back over, and cross it again! This game looks sub par to me but there's not much to play during the summer so I might check it out!
Jump right out of a creek!

I'll try this one. The previous title was very low budget to me

If I had preordered it I would want to cancel. This looks like crap. Good call on the cottage cheese.
