When it comes to Windows Phone games, Microsoft seems to like to reveal upcoming titles in bunches. One of the titles the revealed in the February bunch
was the ad-supported, formerly-XBLIG title, Wordament
We now know that the game will be arriving this week on Wednesday, April 25th, and that it will continue to be supported by ads. What that means for us is that it will thankfully still be free. What was also revealed this week is that the game will also feature Language Editions, each of which will come complete with its own set of Leaderboards. When the English Language Edition launches on Wednesday, a Spanish Language beta will be released as well.
Over the next couple months, developer You vs. the Internet will roll out Dutch, Swedish, French, German, and Italian Language Editions. Each will be marked as a beta until the team feels they're ready to move out of that phase. They've also stated that they will consider other Language Editions once this set is rolled out.
The guys behind Wordament
have been revealing other details about the Xbox LIVE enabled version of their game, such as the achievement list and the addition of social features, on their blog, which you can check out over here
