Edit: The free DLC has now bee released and can be downloaded from here.

Original Story:

Trying to do the DLC roundups is becoming quite entertaining. More and more often I find myself dealing with DLC releases throughout the week instead of the DLC being restricted to Tuesday or Wednesday depending on the game format. The latest DLC announcement for Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 means that the latest update adds to the increasing number of odd DLC releases.

Konami has decided that they are going to enhance their use of the Copa Santander Libertadores licence. Tomorrow players will be able to download a free DLC update that will introduce a ‘Copa Santander Libertadores 2012’ game mode. All of the 38 teams, rosters and the official ball for the 2012 competition will be playable from the most prestigious club competition in South American football.

The DLC update will also include some gameplay fixes, although Konami did not include a list of these. The add-on is due to be released tomorrow, April 27th, and will be free.
