New Ms. Splosion Man Challenge Available Tomorrow

Play it for a chance to win Twisted Pixel's next game!

It's been a little while since we covered a challenge for Twisted Pixel's XBLA title, Ms. Splosion Man. Of course, that means it's high-time for another one, and it's one that many of you will want to participate in.

Splokour


Starting tomorrow, May 5th, a new challenge will be available in the Ms. Splosion Man menu. The challenge, titled "Splokour", draws inspiration from parkour. Your challenge is to get through the level without Ms. 'Splosion Man touching the ground. Stepping on a platform will add ten seconds to your time, thus hurting your chances to place atop the leaderboards.

Why is getting to the top of the leaderboard so important, other than bragging rights? The top five gamers when the contest closes on May 20th at 11PM Eastern will win a copy of Twisted Pixel's next game, which they will announce at E3. Sure, we don't know more details than that, but given that these are the same guys who brought us Ms. Splosion Man and The Gunstringer, you know it's going to be worth your efforts.

I would love to win one of these challenges but whenever I try, I can never beat the top times no matter how many times I try to shave time off my score.

Bragging rights that don't last long to begin with. After the previous contest was over, both the challenge itself and the leaderboard were immediately removed. That will probably happen again for this challenge.

Ugh, I got 1:24 with a flawless run. What does this guy with 1:16 know that I don't?
EDIT: Shaved down to 1:18 and I'm in the top ten now, let's see how long this lasts... Still wanna know how to get 1:16, I can't seem to improve anymore.

i think i may have figured out how he did it, i'm having a lot of trouble replicating my guess/verifying if it's even possible though
