Rockstar have announced the full list of characters that owners of the Special Edition of Max Payne 3 shall find available to them in multiplayer upon launch of the game, thanks to the 'Classic Multiplayer Character Pack'. The cast of this classic crew is as follows:

Vladmir 'Vlad' Lem
Vladimir Lem. He was connected to organized crime. We went back a while. 'Like brothers caught on the opposite sides in a Civil War'. His words.

Vincent 'Vinnie' Gognitti
Gognitti was a highstrung whiner on the verge of breaking apart like an overamped Energizer bunny. He had the brains to run the business but he lacked the balls, always falling short, taking his frustration out on under-aged addicts and call girls.

Jack Lupino
Jack Lupino, a mob boss in the Punchinello crime family, was trafficking. Lupino ran his racket of sex, drugs and contract killings from a sleazy motel and a slum block of tenements.

The chance to play as Max how you knew and loved him in the 2nd game is included, while Max from his 1st outing is also included for buyers from certain retailers and will be available for owners of the Rockstar Pass at some point this summer.

The 'Classic Multiplayer Character Pack' should be available to Special Edition owners at launch, while other players will also be able to buy the pack for an unknown price at an unknown time.

i picked up my special edition last night at launch - went home and slept. now I am at work. I sait to myself when i get home, finish up some writing THEN i'll reward myself with Max Payne.

The multiplayer is very well done. Its crazy hectic though on deathmatch, the likelihood of spawn killing being moderately high on some maps. Definitely a great game though, I kinda wish I had gotten the special addition

i'm really glad i got the special edition although it seems like you possibly can't use the characters unless its just normal deathmatch

Xbox live settings will need to be set up in the following way to allow TrueAchievements to scan your gamertag.

1. Log into https://live.xbox.com

2. Click on My Account in the top toolbar.
