I don't really think this can be necessarily a delay since though they said sometime in late 2012 they never gave specifics. So they could've been cheeky and called it Winter 2012 and technically they would be right |

Publishers all gear up for the big release windows, and as devs fail to meet their checkpoints, or the smaller games appropriately gauge interest levels, they drop out of the race and fill in the March/May window the following year. |

As for OP, Im not too broken up about this, as others have said it gives me more time to adjust to the new direction DMC has taken. We should be able to see more on this with the pushed back release. |

none of the recent delays are a big deal.
im sure they games will all sell better if they are released jan - mar next year.
all 4 games are either reboots of old franchises or newish IPs .(Bioshock Infinate might have the bioshock name but looks and feels like a differnet game to me) So it makes sense not to put them up against Halo 4 or COD or Ass Creed 3 .
we should all be happy that we will have some great games coming in Jan - Mar 13 .When historically those months have very few releases in them |
