Lego Batman 2 Open World Trailer

Holy bottomless bricks batman

Written by Nose 0ver Tail on 23 May 12 at 00:48

Following the highly popular LEGO Batman, LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes seems to be gaining quite a large following with LEGO and super hero fans alike. With the announcement that the game will feature a sprawling open world, gamers not unlike myself will become terribly excited over the next couple months.

Batman and Robin return in LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes, the highly-anticipated sequel to the best-selling LEGO® videogame of all time, which to date has sold more than 11 million units worldwide. This time the Dynamic Duo join forces with other famous DC super heroes including Superman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern to stop the notorious villains Lex Luthor and The Joker from destroying Gotham City. Batman fans of all ages will enjoy a new and original story filled with classic LEGO videogame action and humor as players fight to put the bad guys back behind bars.

As of yet, LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes doesn't have a firm release date, but is expected to drop in early summer. For more on super heroes made of bricks, keep it right here at TA.

I think talking is a good thing these days lego games have worn out the whole silent EVERYTHING humor that they do. Time for some terrible puns to add to it.

Originally, I started buying Lego games to play with my son, but I can't count the number of times my wife and I sat up at night playing them after he went down for the night. Needless to say, I'm now a huge fan of these games and we own every one of them. Lego Batman was a favorite of mine and with the addition of a huge, open-world hub, this looks like it could top them all. I know what I'll be doing June 19th.

They should have added other DC villains other than Gotham's Rogue's Gallery. It would have been nice to see the Legion of Doom or Secret Society.
