The Lord of the Rings is headed to Xbox LIVE Arcade, and with it, five-on-five multiplayer modes pitting good versus evil, Tolkien-style. Monolith Productions is fresh off of taking Batman to the digital platform, and now the timeless Hobbit franchise is next. This trailer is yet another exclusive debut from the latest episode of GT.TV.

I'm not sure how I feel about this. I love LOTR games, but with how they've been lately, I'm not sure how I feel. War In The North was okay...Aragorn's Quest was lolno. Battle For Middle Earth and The Third Age were really the last good ones, IMO.

I have yet to see a LOTR game I like anywhere close to how much I like the movies and books. I doubt this will be that.
