Play MW2 This Weekend, Help Child War Victims

Infinity Ward, GAME and Xbox Live have teamed together for a special charity play session this weekend, pledging to donate up to £250,000 to the fantastic War Child charity. The charity provides necessary aid to millions of children affected by war and conflicts worldwide, "advancing the cause of peace through investing hope in the lives of children caught up in the horrors of war." Definitely a wonderful and worthy cause.

Based on the number of UK located players who play MW2 on Xbox LIVE between 00:00:01 Saturday 5th and 23:59:59 on Sunday 6th December, Activision UK will be making a life changing donation to the War Child charity.

Take part in GAME For Good and log on to Xbox Live to play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 as we attempt to set a new world record for the number of players on Xbox Live - AND help a very worthy cause at the same time.

The more you play, the more we pay!

The more UK-based users playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 on Xbox Live during GAME For Good weekend, the more money Activision will be donating money to the War Child Charity, up to a quarter of a million pounds - meaning you can literally game for good!

All you have to do to take part in GAME For Good is insert your Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 game disc into your system, log in to your Xbox Live Gold Account and join an online game.

For the whole GAME For Good weekend, Xbox Live Gold Memberships will be FREE - so everyone can take part!
If more than 600,000 UK users get their Modern Warfare on, the War Child charity will receive a donation of £150,000 from Activision. For every 100,000 users after that, an extra £25,000 will be donated, up to a maximum total of £250,000.

Doesn't it just warm your heart to see such a wonderful concept and cause like this? Literally, all you have to do is play either Multiplayer or Spec Ops in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 this Saturday or Sunday, and you're helping change children's lives for the better.
