New Sports Apps Announced

For all of you sports fanatics, announced today Xbox LIVE will be bringing more sports programming straight to your console.

Xbox continues to transform sports entertainment by delivering even more content through new partnerships. 2012 will bring NBA Game Time with League Pass Broadband (U.S.) and NBA League Pass (outside of the U.S.), NHL GameCenter LIVE™ and all of the ESPN networks through WatchESPN – including ESPN, ESPN 2, ESPN 3 and ESPN U - live on Xbox 360, including SportsCenter.
ESPN - The newly updated ESPN app will bring 24 hour live programming coverage featuring all of your favorite ESPN programs including SportsCenter, SportsNation, The Mike and Mike Show, as well as ESPN’s coverage of the NFL, MLB and the NBA.

NHL - New to your dashboard, NHL GameCenter LIVE™, never miss a moment of NHL regular season action directly from your Xbox 360. Fans will be able to enjoy more than 1,000 live out of market hockey games, plus social interactivity, replays and highlights on demand anytime.

NBA - NBA fans were surely excited at the announcement of NBA Game Time. Catch all the NBA regular season excitement directly on your Xbox 360. Fans who subscribe to League Pass Broadband (for U.S customers) and NBA League Pass (for customers outside the U.S) will have access to hundreds of live games, plus highlights from around the league and up to the minute stats of your favorite players.
