Battle vs. Chess Coming to US as Chess vs. Mate

By Ellis Spice, 4 years ago
Battle vs. Chess has been out in parts of mainland Europe for just over a year, and finally the American market will get to have a go when it releases under the new name of Chess vs. Mate.

Based upon the famous 'Fritz!' chess algorithm, the game features animated pieces and well-designed boards. The game has multiple game modes, such as 'classic' chess, the form of chess we all know and love, 'Madness Placement' where the pieces are placed randomly and 'Tactical Placement', where the player will set the placement of their pieces, with their opponent only discovering it once the game has started. As well as this, the game features puzzles in both the 'Campaign' and 'Puzzle' modes, as well as multiplayer.

Chess vs. Mate is set to release 'soon', and it is currently unknown if it will share the same set of achievements as Battle vs. Chess.
