Alien Hominid HD To Go on Sale Tomorrow

One week at half off, plus a contest

Looking back on E3 as it goes into its final hours, one long-in-development title that has not been covered at the show is The Behemoth's BattleBlock Theater. Sadly, we don't have more to share with you about that title as yet, but we do have news regarding The Behemoth's first XBLA title, Alien Hominid HD.

Starting tomorrow, June 8th, Alien Hominid HD will be on sale for 400 MSP, which is 50% off its typical price. The sale will last until next Friday.

In order to encourage more people to jump on the sale, The Behemoth is also running a score competition and giving away these unique trophies to the winners.

Curious what game types you have to play to be entered? Here are the details:

Local High Scores posted to the Leaderboard

Alien Hominid HD – Main Game – Medium Difficulty – Weekly Leaderboard – (highest score)

Xbox Live Online Multiplayer high scores posted to the leaderboards

PDA Games – Ranked Match – Monthly Leaderboard – (highest score)
Super Soviet Missile Mastar – Monthly Leaderboard – (most KM traveled)
For the weekly challenge, a winner will be selected every Monday this month, with the first being on June 11th. Monthly winners will be selected on July 2nd, which will also be the day the final weekly winner is drawn.

The contest is already active, so if you have Alien Hominid HD go ahead and get yourself entered. Otherwise, you can download that game right here, just make sure to wait until tomorrow so the sale price is put in place!

Considering how old it is, I'm guessing there won't be a lot of randoms in the contest. Buying it tomorrow, definitely going to try to win.

Definitely going to buy it, was planning on doing so this summer regardless of a sale. Loved it when it was released on the PS2.

Game itself, kinda weak... (or I just suck at it)

The PDA games however... is pure gold with friends. So many hours and nights spent playing through those hundreds of levels. Would've enjoyed half off though for sure.

Makes up a little for the past DotW, with those damn repeat deals that occurred 2 weeks running.
Popcap and 2K sale.

Also the Repeat deal over on WP7 with Assassins Creed. My pocketbook recovered a bit there.

I bought this game because of how much I loved Castle Crashers. I hated every minute of it. To all prospective purchasers: get the trial first! This is definitely a game you want to test before you buy it.
