The original Runner was fantastic. Conceptually, it sounds like a child's acid trip (see: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), but the game play is ridiculously addictive. In addition, you create the background music with your moves. Each object type in your path has a particular sound, and every time you jump, slide or otherwise maneuver around it, the sound is played in time with the main beat. This new iteration looks as great as the original with beefed up graphics, though there was some charm to the pixelation of the original.
I very rarely buy first day, but this would make the cut for me. |

| Sorry if someone already said this, I didn't have time to read all the comments. It looks like that indie game, The Impossible Game, where you're a block jumping at precise times to avoid running into obstacles. But I don't know what came first. Looks funny and cute, though. =] |

Looks funny and cute, though. =]Runner2 is apart of the Bit.Trip Series that until this game was a Wii Exclusive and you are right it is like The Impossible Game in terms of using Rhythm and platforming |
